Michael Guertin started his lab at the University of Virginia in the Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics Department in the fall of 2015. Before starting his group, Dr. Guertin was a cancer research training award fellow in Gordon Hager’s lab in the Laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression at the National Cancer Institute and a visiting fellow in the Baker Institute for Animal Health in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. Dr. Guertin received his PhD in John Lis’ lab as a member of the Genetics, Genomics, and Development graduate program at Cornell University after earning his BS from Cornell University while working in Ross MacIntyre’s lab.  Contact Dr. Guertin for employment opportunities or if you are a UVA graduate student and would like to rotate in the lab.
